Dylan, Davidson, and a Wrecking Ball announces a new exclusive: a slide show of black-and-white photographs to go with Bob Dylan’s new track, “Beyond Here Lies Nothin’.” Bruce Davidson’s Coney Island gang photograph graces the album cover. In this new world of failing publications, where the photo essay has long been difficult to find, we now have an amalgam of retailer and singer making it possible to see some strong imagery while listening to an extraordinary song. (Thanks Fred Robertson!)

It’s the same day that Steve Sullivan, multimedia editor of the Baltimore Sun, pointed out to me their “Wrecking Ball” video on YouTube - a poignant, even funereal five-minute goodbye with soundtrack to an eighty-year-old Baltimore building under the wrecking ball. Maybe it’s all in the music?
